ProRep Tortoise Life Bio is part of the species-specific “Life” series, created for Mediterranean, Russian, and other dry-habitat tortoises. This professional mix of loam, fine sand, and coconut husk replicates the natural soils of their environment, encouraging digging, burrowing, and natural behaviour. The inclusion of coconut husk creates a lighter, organic-rich substrate that is safe if ingested, while also helping with moisture retention and maintaining a healthy microclimate within the enclosure. ProRep Tortoise Life Bio was awarded Pet Product Marketing Retailer Recommended Awards 2023 – Reptile Product of the Year, recognising its quality and effectiveness.

• Retains moisture for healthy localised humidity without becoming waterlogged
• Easy to manage, spot clean, and maintain
Spread the substrate evenly across the enclosure floor to a depth of at least 5cm for young tortoises, or 15cm or more for mature animals. Russian tortoises may require deeper layers due to their burrowing behaviour. Spot clean daily to remove soiled substrate and fully replace every 2–3 weeks. Areas may be lightly dampened to provide localised humidity, but avoid over-saturating the substrate. Suitable for use in both glass and well-sealed wooden vivariums.

The Process

  1. Order the out of stock item.
  2. We will expedite getting the item in.
  3. Once your item is in we will send on to you. 

For orders with a mix of in stock and out of stock items, still works as above. 

Payment Scheme

 

Our payment scheme is done via Shop Pay. 

To pay for an order using Shop Pay Installments, a customer goes through the following steps:

  1. The customer adds items to their cart.
  2. The customer checks out using Shop Pay.
  3. The customer selects to pay in installments.
  4. The customer reviews all of the installment payment options that are available to them, and then chooses an option.
  5. The customer reviews their purchase, and then makes their first payment at checkout.

The remaining payments are automatically charged to the customer's card based on the payment schedule they choose. Customers get an email reminder before each payment is charged.
