ProRep Bio Life Desert is a bio-active substrate formulated for desert and arid terrariums. With an optimised blend of structure, pH, and nutrients, it supports desert plant growth and beneficial microorganisms while allowing the creation of underground-style moist zones. This substrate provides a naturalistic environment for arid species, encouraging digging, burrowing, and microhabitat selection, all while remaining easy to manage.

To use, first add a drainage layer such as ProRep Bio Life Drainage Medium, topped with a permeable membrane to prevent waterlogging. Spread the substrate to the required depth, using rocks or wood to create banks and terraces for variation. Water selectively to create localised humidity, but avoid keeping the entire substrate damp. Suitable for small desert species; not recommended for large reptiles that may damage plants.

The Process

  1. Order the out of stock item.
  2. We will expedite getting the item in.
  3. Once your item is in we will send on to you. 

For orders with a mix of in stock and out of stock items, still works as above. 

Payment Scheme

 

Our payment scheme is done via Shop Pay. 

To pay for an order using Shop Pay Installments, a customer goes through the following steps:

  1. The customer adds items to their cart.
  2. The customer checks out using Shop Pay.
  3. The customer selects to pay in installments.
  4. The customer reviews all of the installment payment options that are available to them, and then chooses an option.
  5. The customer reviews their purchase, and then makes their first payment at checkout.

The remaining payments are automatically charged to the customer's card based on the payment schedule they choose. Customers get an email reminder before each payment is charged.
